LPAC protects 4,450 hectares of pristine rainforest in the Las Piedras-Tambopata-Madre de Dios Region of the Peruvian Amazon. The following mammals have been recorded on the site and/or within the watershed through ARCAmazon’s wildlife monitoring and forest ranger programs:
